Sawtooth

In screen printing, an inadequate adhesion of the stencil to the screen fabric, wherein the stencil material follows the contours of the screen mesh, distorting and creating a notched effect where straight lines on the design meet the fabric mesh. Insufficient bridging and filling in are causes of the sawtooth effect.
