Scene

In motion picture, television, and video production, the smallest unit of a production, usually a period of action that occurs in one particular geographical location for a short period of time (such as a conversation in a restaurant). Usually, one scene is filmed or taped several times from a variety of angles, the various takes edited after filming or taping. Multiple takes are made so as to capture the best performance and/or camera angle, as well as to allow a variety of angles to be incorporated into the final presentation.
