Set

In typography, to create typographic-quality copy from an origiunal manuscript or typescript.

Set is also used to refer to the overall appearance of copy that has been typeset, an evaluation based on the relative widths of the characters. See Set Width.

In database systems, a set is a collection of all of the records found during a search. The set can be displayed, printed, or saved to disk, and additionally analyzed, processed, etc.

In film, video, and television production, a set is the location where filming or taping takes place.
