Set Solid

Descriptive of type set with leading equal to the point size (i.e., 12/12, 10/10, etc.) or, in other words, without any additional space between successive lines. One caveat about setting type solid is that the descenders of one line may touch—or appear to touch—the ascenders of the line beneath it. (See Leading.)
