SuperATM

An extension to the Adobe Type Manager utility that is distinguished by its ability to imitate fonts not available in a particular system. If, for example, a document contains text originally set in Caslon, and it is opened on a system that does not contain Caslon, SuperATM uses multiple master technology to create an ersatz Caslon which, though perhaps differing slightly from true Caslon, will posses the proper character widths. As a result, the layout of the document will not change.
