A type of quick-set ink whose drying (or "setting") is facilitated by the application of heat energy in the form of infrared radiation. The ink vehicle consists of synthetic resins combined with special solvents and a trace of drying oil. Super quick-set inks dry ten times faster than traditional quick-set inks, even without the application of heat. (See Quick-Set Ink.)
