Command Key

A key included on computer keyboards (especially those used by the Apple Macintosh computer) used to modify another key. The Command Key is added to expand the number of functions that a particular key can have and is widely used for keyboard shortcuts. See also Alternate Key, and Option Key. The Control key is usually designated Cmd, and is referred to as a cloverleaf.
