Any mass of things gathered together, commonly used to refer to a cluster of undispersed particles of printing ink pigment or other additives. Such undispersed particles can have deleterious effects on not only the dispersion of other substances in the ink (such as driers), but also on the performance of the ink in a printing process. This condition is sometimes found in inks used in screen printing. A string of such clusters is referred to as an aggregate.
