Any sum or mass of particular objects, used to refer to a string or chain of clusters of undispersed particles of printing ink pigment. Such clusters can have deleterious effects on not only the dispersion of other additives in the ink but also on the performance of the ink in a printing operation. An individual cluster of pigment particles is referred to as an agglomerate.
