Aging

The changes in color, structure, gloss, or other properties in a (printed) substance over time. See Permanence.

In screen printing, aging refers to the curing of printed decorations onto textiles by means of moist heat as a way of ensuring the colorfastness of the colorant and removing the stiffness of the textile fibers which is characteristic of air-dried decorations.
