Bronzing

A printing and finishing procedure in which a size, or sticky-drying ink, is printed, then dusted with a metallic powder to produce the appearance of metallic printing. Also called Bronze Dusting. (See also Metallic Powders.) Bronzing, once a popular form of decorating, has largely been replaced by foil stamping.
