Converting

Any finishing operation which forms a printed product into another physical form other than simple ink-on-substrate. Bagmaking, boxmaking, bookbinding, waxing, coating, laminating, folding, gluing, die-cutting, etc., are all considered converting operations. See Binding and Finishing.
