In motion picture and video production, an individual responsible for mounting or placing the camera in the locations indicated by the director, cameraman, or director of photography. Some types of grips are responsible for pulling a dolly-mounted camera along the tracks laid down for it (the "dolly grip"). See also Gaffer.
