Group

In a drawing program or page layout program, to combine two or more drawing or page elements so as to allow for their simultaneous positioning or manipulation. Grouped elements can also be separated, or ungrouped when it is necessary to manipulate them individually.

In networking, the term group refers to a collection of network users assigned to a specific group such that they all have access to the same directories. Each group thus has its own security level.
